I’m currently a yoga teacher but I haven’t always been one. I first experienced yoga about 10 years ago when I was looking for something different in the 'fitness world.' It wasn’t until I came across yoga that I truly experienced healing benefits. After struggling with back pain, anxiety and to be open...an unhealthy relationship with my body, yoga became a way to find connection to myself - my whole self, mind, body and spirit.
In 2020 I took a leap of faith and pursued my 200-hour yoga teacher training with The South Okanagan Yoga Academy (SOYA). In June 2022, I added a Pain Care Aware certification to further support individuals in managing pain and reducing stress. I’m deeply passionate about building a supportive community where everyone can feel empowered, manage pain, and experience the full spectrum of well-being.
In an attempt to pass along the benefits of yoga, I have created a blend of in-person and online offerings. Providing variations for each pose to make yoga inclusive and accessible for all bodies. I invite you to meet the body where it's at and enjoy the healing benefits of yoga!
